Molly Rankin, Kerri MacLellan, Alec O'Hanley, Brian Murphy, and Sheridan Riley are Alvvays, and Antisocialites is the group's second full-length. The 5-piece Toronto band describes its sound as "jangle pop," and this 10-tracker, effortlessly held together with quiky, addictive melodies (thanks to Rankin's vocals) and fuzzed out instrumentation, offers a charming, pastel-toned listening experience. There is controlled melancholy underlying the entire project, but the group is able to also exert comfort into its soundcheck out "In Undertow," "Dreams Tonite," "Not My Baby," and "Lillipop (Ode To Jim)."
