With the inclusion of "Under Your Spell" on the Drive soundtrack, it's no better time to revisit this this excellent 2009 full length from producer . (originally Jewel was signed on to do the entire soundtrack, but unfortunately that fell through!). is a group out of Montreal, making their debut (despite the title of the album) via , and their sound is almost like what might happen if 80s and Tears For Fears had a goth baby. IDIB have never been known to release crazy dancefloor bangers, but even so, this one is definitely a more mellow entry in their catalog of dreamy disco. Check out "Montre Moi Ton Visage," "Miroir Miroir," "Don't Call," "Dans Mes Reves," and "Under Your Spell" for a few examples of what I'm talking about. It might not shake any asses, but this is exactly the album you want to have on if you're making out with a character from The Breakfast Club. Recommended.
