Deluxe edition of King Gizzard's Nonagon Infinity, "the worlds first infinitely looping album." This deluxe edition is expanded onto 2LP with 10 demo versions. Original Lab review for the standard album:
Nonagon Infinity checks all the boxes microtuning, fuzz, ultra dorky format gimmickry - each song transition is deliberately seamless and the album starts and ends as a seamless loop when played on repeat (cop doubles!!) but its not so grandiose that it becomes unlistenable (ahem ). Conceptually, not much specific mythology to be gleaned from this but we now know that a nonagon is a nine-sided polygon (thats it on the cover, and yeah theres nine songs). And despite the heavy-handed arrangement, the songs are actually quite diverse. Highlights include Big Fig Wasp, Gamma Knife, Invisible Face and Wah Wah.
